NOAH Appointed Zhe Yin as CEO

Noah Holdings Limited, a prominent wealth management service provider in China, has announced a separation of the CEO and chairperson roles for improved corporate governance. Mr. Zhe Yin, co-founder and director of the Company, has been appointed as the new CEO, succeeding Ms. Jingbo Wang. Ms. Wang will continue to serve as the chairwoman of the Board and the chairwoman of the Company's corporate governance and nominating committee. The decision aligns with corporate governance best practices and aims to enhance overall governance efficiency.

Mr. Yin, a co-founder of Noah Holdings Limited, has been a director since June 2007. With over 22 years of experience in the wealth and asset management industry, he has a deep understanding of the Company's operations and culture. Mr. Yin has served as the chairman of Gopher Asset Management Co., Ltd., a consolidated affiliated entity, since March 2021. Previously, he held the position of chief executive officer at Gopher Asset Management from April 2014 to March 2021 and served as its chairman from February 2010 to April 2014.

Before co-founding Noah, Mr. Yin held the position of deputy general manager of the private banking department at Xiangcai Securities Co., Ltd. from November 2003 to September 2005. Prior to that, from July 1997 to October 2003, he worked in various roles at Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch, with his final position as the foreign exchange product manager of private finance division. Mr. Yin also served as a director of Dalian Zeus Entertainment Co., Ltd. from August 2021 to September 2022 and as an independent director of Guizhou Xinbang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. from November 2017 to June 2021.

Mr. Yin played a significant role as the co-chairman of the Fund of Funds Professional Committee of the Asset Management Association of China from 2017 to August 2021. His influential contributions have been acknowledged through various accolades, including being named one of the Top 20 China's Best Private Equity Investors in 2017 and one of the Top 50 China's Best Private Equity Investors in 2019 by ChinaVenture Investment Consulting., Ltd. Additionally, he was recognized as one of the Most Influential Investors in China's VC/PE Fund Limited Partner Market in 2021 by Zero2IPO Group. These recognitions highlight his notable impact in China's private equity investment industry.

Mr. Yin earned his MBA degree from China Europe International Business School in Shanghai, China, in September 2010. He also holds a bachelor's degree in economics, which he obtained from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in Shanghai, China, in July 1997.
