Abel Devis is a Client Relations Manager for the Institutional Real Estate Group at Markets Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, Abel spent over a decade working at GreenPearl Events cultivating relationship with investors, owners, developers, and service providers. Abel has held multiple Business Development roles within the Real Estate Conference, Print Publishing and FF&E industries.
Abel loves photography as well as traveling and has been to over 20 countries.
Adam Raleigh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Markets Group, the world’s leading conference organizer serving the investment management industry. Mr. Raleigh founded the firm in 2009. Since then, Markets Group has grown to 90 team members and offices in New York, London and Singapore. Markets Group has run nearly 500 conferences in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East and has been recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. through ranking in the Inc 500. Mr. Raleigh is a board member of Trout Unlimited’s Coldwater Conservation Fund (TU), Friends of the Upper Delaware River (FUDR) and Friends of Mount Sinai
Prior to Markets Group, Mr. Raleigh was a fixed income broker and developed investor education programs for IMN-Euromoney, Institutional Investor Awards and other leading firms focused on the needs of investors worldwide. Additionally, Mr. Raleigh has held series 7 and 63 licenses.
Mr. Raleigh, a native of Cleveland, OH, is a graduate of Kent State University, where he earned a B.A. in Finance.
Adena, a New York native, contributes to the production and program management of the U.S. Private Wealth Series through content formulation, investor relations and event planning. Prior to Markets Group, Adena reported and provided editorial assistance for InvestmentWires, a financial publication based in New York City.
Adena graduated from Pace University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a Journalism concentration.
Amber Woytan is an Investor Relations and Program Manager at Markets Group. She studied Business Administration and Economics at Rutgers University. She has 10 years of Sales and Marketing Experience in B2B. Previously she has sold delegate seats, as well as membership sales for a leading conference event company specializing in Investor Relations Forums and Private Equity Real Estate. She is now working with Markets Group as a Program Manager & Investor Relations, handling the areas of Institutional Forums, Private Wealth Events, and Alternative Series in APAC.
She enjoys traveling and exploring new cities. She has lived in Philadelphia, D.C. and New Jersey but is a New York Native from Syracuse.
Ana Sousa is responsible for business development and client engagement within the Private Equity Group.
She has an international background with 10+ years of experience working in Private & Corporate Banking at institutions such as Santander and Standard Bank. After transitioning into the Private Equity sector, she has developed relationships with mid and large-size fund managers, private investors, and Service Providers across Europe, South East Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Ana holds a Bachelors’s degree in Business Management and speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
She grew up in Australia and is an avid CrossFit and surfing fan.
Mr. Ortiz heads the production practice at Markets Group. He’s been Head of Production for Institutional Events in LatAm and leads the Production EMEA team. Mr. Ortiz studied Political Science in Madison, Wisconsin and mastered in International Political Economy at New York University. Prior to joining Markets Group, Mr. Ortiz managed account relations at ACCION USA in New York, worked as an independent researcher in Curitiba, Brazil and handled management and financial services for different enterprises in Wisconsin. Mr. Ortiz was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.
Ann is responsible for production and program management for the U.S. Private Wealth team. Prior to joining Markets Group, Ann worked as an educator in Indiana and New York public schools. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 2015 and joined Markets Group in November 2017.
Ashley is a Client Relations Manager for the Private Wealth team at Markets Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, she worked at Advisor Perspectives producing webinars and ETF Trends as a CRM. Ashley graduated from Rider University with a degree in Social Sciences and minors in Sociology and History.
Ashley lives and teaches yoga in Philadelphia.
Ashton Yarnall is an Investor Relations and Program Manager at Markets Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, she worked at Milbank as an attorney in their litigation and arbitration group. Ashton received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and bachelor’s in Political Science from Tulane University.
Mr. Friedberg heads up Markets Group’s Sponsor Relationships and Client Development throughout the world. Prior to Markets Group, he spent ten years in wealth management working with both retail and institutional investors in dealing with a wide array of financial instruments. Mr. Friedberg graduated from Binghamton University with a BS degree in Financial Economics and also attended Fordham Law School.
Mr. Intemann is responsible for production as well as investor relations. Prior to Markets Group he worked for an events and marketing company. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2016 with a BA in Economics.
Cammy Gregg is a Client Relations Manager for the Private Wealth Group at Markets Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, Cammy spent over a decade working at Dimensional Fund Advisors servicing large institutions and financial advisory firms. Cammy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communications and Business Administration.
Candice Lens is Program Manager & Investor Relations for the Private Equity Group at Markets Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, Candice spent over 4 years working at Informa cultivating relationship with C-Levels in the finance industry. Candice has spent over a decade in multiple roles within the finance, macro economic and Cyber industries in institutions such as Euromoney and Capital Economics. She grew up in England and is an avid hiker.
Ms. Gomez-Lacazette is responsible for production and investor relations across the US for the Institutional Real Estate group.
Prior to joining Markets Group, she worked at Garrigues , an international law firm, as a corporate lawyer at their Spain offices.
Cassia is responsible for business development across the
LatAm and Canada regions for the Private Wealth Group. Prior to that, Cassia
managed the Investor Relations team for the Private Wealth Series, coordinating
investor outreach, event planning, and content formulation across the Americas.
Cassia graduated from Bard College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political
Science and International Studies. Cassia is originally from Brazil and speaks
English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Chris Glynn is a content writer for Markets Group. He had previously worked as program manager/investor relations for the Institutional Forums, Private Wealth Forums as well as the ALTS Forums. Prior to joining Markets Group, Glynn worked for the Chartered Financial Analyst association New York Society of Security Analysts (now CFA Society New York). A longtime editorial and financial professional, he graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in business and financial journalism before writing for Institutional Investor, Thomson Reuters, HedgeFund.net and PEI Media.
In 2022, Markets Group reimagined how one of the world’s leading financial events companies would meet the news and content needs of its global and regional investor audience. Giordano’s main goal is to create a useful news tool for investors, expand peer-to-peer learning and integrate actionable information for allocators across live panel discussions.
Giordano is known for applying a solutions-oriented approach to news and events for members of the financial industry. Earlier in her career, Giordano headed Chief Investment Officer media and events, and was an award-winning multimedia journalist for daily news outlets such as the New York Times Co., U.S. News & World Report, The Street and Newsday. She is a member of 100 Women in Finance, Society of Business Editors and Writers, Newswomen’s Club of New York, Press Club of Long Island and the Society of Professional Journalists.
Christine is the Operations Manager with Markets Group in London. Prior to joining Markets Group, Christine managed and delivered projects and events for the private equity and hedge fund space as Event Manager at Global Fund Media.
Christine graduated with a first-class honors BSc(Hons) degree in International Events Management from the University of Surrey and concentrated in History(B.A.) at Harvard University.
Christine is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese. She enjoys drawing and makes digital illustrations in her free time.
Dave joined Markets Group in 2022 to take part in the company’s efforts to provide news to institutional investors. He has been a journalist since his sophomore year in high school when he began writing about his high school’s sports teams for the weekly paper in his hometown. His career has included reporting roles with the San Jose Business Journal, the Boston Business Journal and Alternative Assets – where he helped create a series of newsletters. Dave also spent time at Dow Jones where he developed content for in-person and audio seminars focused on private equity and venture capital. More recently, he oversaw content for the Falk Marques Group, including the creation of the popular Women’s PE Briefs newsletter.
Debra contributes to the production and program management for
the Alternate Investments team at Markets Group through content formulation and
investor relations. Prior to Markets Group, Debra worked as a Head of
Production for Worldwide Business Research in both London and New York.
Debra graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business and has dual citizenship in both the U.S. and the
United Kingdom.
Doina is a Italy-based project manager of EMEA investor forums. Prior to that, she was heading the Investor Relations team at Private Equity Insights, where she was in charge of curating the agendas and lining up the speakers across all European and Asian events.
Doina is fluent in English, Russian and Portuguese and has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Eliza joined Markets Group in May 2022 as Head of Real Estate Client Relations. She previously worked at Investment and Pensions Europe for six and a half years moving from Events Manager into their Real Assets Sales team at the end of 2020.
She is doing a part time MA at SOAS in International Relations and is based in London
Emilia Ojasalo is responsible for the business development
and client engagement across Europe. Prior to joining Markets Group, Emilia was
the head of sales and client relations at a premium government relations firm based
in Dubai.
MS. Ojasalo also holds extensive background working in
financial sector events in London and across the world. She held a head account
manager and client relations positions in a leading independent consultancy in
London matching private clients and institutional investors to specialist
managers and direct investment opportunities. She was responsible for
organizing and bringing fund managers and investors together in financial events
across the Globe. She handled everything from strategic partnerships to event team
management and delivering one of the kind investor and manager introductions.
Emilia spends a large part of her time working closely with Institutional
Investors and Private Wealth sector.
She holds double
bachelor’s degree in European Business Management from Metropolia University of
Helsinki.
Emily Farricker is an Investor Relations Program Manager at Markets Group. She graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communication. Prior to joining the team, she was in the healthcare industry organizing conferences for medical professionals and managing 40+ clients/brokers, dealing with many different day-to-day responsibilities.
After wearing different hats, Giseli now oversees all logistics & operations for Markets Group globally. Prior to Markets Group, she has held positions with Banco Nossa Caixa (Banco do Brasil), Santander Bank and UNICAMP (University of Campinas). Giseli is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Sao Paulo. She earned a BA Degree in Business and Marketing from Escola Superior de Administração e Comunicação in Brazil, an MA Degree in Economics and International Business from the City University of New York, and has attended executive classes at NYU and Columbia University.
Hanna is based in Singapore and works with our Institutional / Private Wealth teams covering sponsorship relationships for the Forums in Europe and Asia. Prior to Markets Group she was at Euromoney Institutional Investor covering a portfolio including derivatives, structured products, and infrastructure. Hanna graduated with a BA in English from the Loughborough University and in her spare time loves to ski, play golf and generally be in the outdoors.
Harriet Oakley is Head of Design for Markets Group. Harriet is responsible for designing and executing all marketing campaigns incorporating email blasts, landing pages, program agendas, event brochures and banner ads for more than 120 annual events globally.
Harriet graduated from the University of the Arts London where she obtained a degree in Magazine Publishing, she then went on to study at Southampton Solent University with a degree in Journalism.
Jane is Marketing Manager for Markets Group. Jane is responsible for generating both buy and sell-side leads to help build the audiences for our events.
Jane has over 15 years of global events marketing experience across the financial, legal and public sector markets and brings with her a wealth of knowledge.
Jane graduated from both Oxford Brookes University and L’Ecole Superieur de Commerce La Rochelle with a BA Honours in European Business. Jane lives in Wimbledon, UK, with her young family.
Jane is a London based project manager of EMEA investor forums. Prior to that, she was a Senior Conference Producer at PEI Media looking after private equity real estate and real estate debt events. Before that Jane was a Project Director at the GRI Club responsible for investor meetings in Russia and UK.
Prior to joining Markets Group, Joanna worked with Sovereign Wealth funds, institutional investors, and family offices, introducing them to investment opportunities in the Gulf region.
Joanna joined the finance industry after completing her BA from Sciences Po Paris and City University London. She started her career working as a financial journalist at the FT (Mergermarket), thereafter moving to Bloomberg and was later headhunted to join Institutional Investor.
Joanna’s international exposure has allowed her to communicate in several languages and sustain strong intercultural relationships.
Mr. Zajas is responsible for marketing outreach and new business development across all all sectors (Real Estate, Private Equity, Alternatives, Private Wealth, and Institutional Investor Teams). He is responsible for generating new leads and attracting new business to these sectors through various marketing tactics. He also responsible for in house data development and marketing budgets.
He has previously worked in the financial sector at Bank of America. He holds a degree in International Business from Canisius College in Buffalo.
Josephine looks after client relations across the alternatives space within the ALTS team.
Prior to joining Markets Group, Josephine managed relationships across publishing and events for the private equity and hedge fund space as Associate Director, Commercial at Global Fund Media, and previously at a membership organisation for FX & Equities Traders.
Based in London, Josephine is a self-taught seamstress and avid reader. She holds an MA and BA in History from the University of Bristol.
Joyce first left her country the Gambia in 2009 to pursue a bachelor’s in agricultural studies in Taiwan. After graduating she went back to work for a World bank funded project where she trained youth and women entrepreneurs on entrepreneurship and managed start-up grant allocations.
Joyce has, however, always had a passion for the hospitality industry, and this became even more evident whilst managing a restaurant in Gambia. In 2016, she went on to pursue a master’s degree in hospitality and event management in Barcelona. She worked at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Barcelona as an event planner further harnessing her hospitality skills before immigrating to the US and joining Markets Group as an operation’s associate, supporting operations & logistics of its forums globally. She has now transitioned to the role of CRM & data manager.
Besides being a single mum, Joyce travels the world when the time allows, models professionally, invests in women’s SME’s, and runs the Riley’s Foundation for Girls which provides funding for underprivileged girls to study at the University of The Gambia.
Karishna manages programs in the Latin America and Europe event series through content formulation, investor relations and event planning. Previously, she coordinated and managed strategic promotional partnerships at Markets Group to generate leads across all sectors (Real Estate, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Private Wealth, Energy & Infrastructure, and Institutional Investor Teams). Karishna was born and raised in the Bronx and a New York Yankees fan.
Khaled is Markets Group’s Finance, Ops, & Compliance Manager based in NYC. Prior to joining Markets Group, Khaled worked as a litigation associate at an international firm and as a legal advisor to a United Nations special project. In his free time, he enjoys long bike rides, tennis, and the theater. Khaled earned a B.A. in Government and Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. and L.L.M. in Comparative and International Law from Duke University School of Law.
Kristen Oliveri is Head of Private Wealth Content for Markets Group. Kristen is a career journalist and content director, who has established her career entrenched in the wealth management and family office community creating exciting content, establishing business connections and curating high-touch, content-driven events for the last 15 years.
Beginning as a beat reporter covering private banking, wealth management and RIA firms, Kristen later began focusing on the ultra-high-net-worth industry and single-family offices. She specializes in editorial content, curating panel discussions on pressing financial and wealth management issues, as well as crafting boutique networking events for the private wealth industry.
Kristen, a born and raised New Yorker, also freenlances in the food, wine and travel space and lives with her husband and daughter in the North Fork of Long Island.
Kwame is responsible for the production and program management of real estate events in both the US and Canada. Prior to joining Markets Group, he oversaw the staging and production of real estate events at several media firms. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
Lucy Wilson is an Operations Manager at Markets Group. She graduated from Kingston University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. Prior to joining Markets Group, Lucy worked as a Senior Events Manager for Investment Europe and International Investment brands at Incisive Media.
Madeline Heckman is the Head of Institutional Real Estate Content at Markets Group. Prior to starting at Markets Group, Ms. Heckman spent nine years at Euromoney managing relationships with institutional investors, OCIOs, retirement plan advisors, RIAs, family offices, and defined contribution plan sponsors across the asset management and real estate industries. Ms. Heckman graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in Business and Art.
Maria has been with the firm since 2012 and is currently responsible for production and investor relations for the Private Wealth Team at Markets Group. Prior to joining the team, Maria worked for Hewlett Packard in Colombia in the marketing department. Maria is a Colombian national who graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, with a dual bachelor’s degree in organizational/corporate communication and publicity.
Marika Maldera is an Investor Relations and Program Manager at Markets Group, currently working in the Private Equity team.
Prior to joining Markets Group, she has worked on a wide range of conferences, including Data, Fintech and HR.

Mario Marroquin is a reporter from El Salvador and a Penn State Graduate. Prior to joining Markets Group, Mr. Marroquin reported on real estate, banking and finance for both consumer and b2b outlets including USA TODAY, The Real Deal and LatinFinance
Mr. Tattersall is based in London works with our Institutional team covering sponsorship relationships for the Forums in Europe. Prior to Markets Group he was at Informa covering a diverse portfolio including Hedge Funds, Corporate Finance, Alternatives and Energy and Infrastructure. Mr. Tattersall graduated with a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds.
Mr. Laurent is responsible for production as well as investor relations across Europe for multi-asset and asset-specific meetings. Prior to Markets Group, he was a Business Development Specialist for consulting firms in Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta. Mr. Laurent has graduated from Montpellier Business School in France and earned a Master’s degree in International Business.
Meagan specializes in hotel logistics and operations for Markets Group’s global events portfolio. Prior to joining Markets Group, Meagan held events positions at AlphaMetrix Events, the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), and the Association of International Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) where she planned complex financial conferences for up to 4,000 attendees. She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and has her Digital Event Specialist (DES) certification.
Meagan serves on the Board of Directors for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) New England chapter and is an active volunteer and advocate for the meetings industry. She graduated Cum Laude from Temple University where she majored in Public Relations and Business.
Meghan is responsible for program management and investor relations at Markets Group. Prior to joining Markets Gup, Meghan held events positions at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), New York University (NYU) and the New Jersey Devils. She has her Digital Event Specialist (DES) certification and graduated from Rutgers University where she majored in Communications.
Michael Martinez is a Program Manager at Markets Group. Prior to joining the company, he worked in producing dynamic informational global pharmaceutical and healthcare events. Mr. Martinez has also worked in Events and Marketing for a retail software company based in New York. Michael holds his degree from DeVry University.
Molly Stemwedel is a Senior Program Manager for North American Institutional. Prior to joining Markets Group, she spent three years as a VP of Institutional events, building relationships with allocators and writing programs for industry events. Molly has also worked in sales, marketing, and research psychology.
Molly graduated from NYU with a BA in Psychology, and a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Originally from Chicago, she now resides in Brooklyn.
Morgan Lomas is an Investor Relations Program Manager at Markets Group. She graduated from University of Hartford in 2019 from Barney Business School with a degree in Marketing. Previously, she worked at a Wealth Management Company as an Operations Associate. Morgan is based at the Jersey Shore.
Natasha Guzman is an Investor Relations and Program Manager at Markets Group focused on Private Wealth Events. She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in Business Management. Previously, she worked in the corporate events space focused on Information Technology, Cyber Security, Human Resources, Finance and Marketing.
She has been a native New Yorker for 14 years and is originally from Miami, Florida.
Natasha is the Head of Operations for the APAC and EMEA regions. Prior to joining Markets Group she was Operations Director – Middle East and Africa for Terrapinn where she managed an array of events ranging from 150 -12,000 attendees. Having lived in Dubai for the last nine years, she will now be relocating back to the United Kingdom permanently. Natasha graduated from Southampton Solent University in 2011 with a BA (Hons) degree in Advertising.
Nawshad Noorkhan is responsible for the business development and client engagement across EMEA within the Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, Nawshad was the Head of Commercial at the Financial Times based out of London and was responsible for the Wealth and Asset Management forums business globally.
Prior to this, Mr. Noorkhan has held a variety of senior commercial positions with some of the world’s leading event businesses including Terrapin, Globaldata and Euromoney PLC where he was responsible for forecasting, team management and the profitability of multiple global event portfolios.
Nawshad spends a large part of his time working closely with institutional investors, fund managers and other leading asset managers and has gained valuable experience advising on capital raising efforts in a variety of complex and emerging markets.
Nedina Stevens is the Head of ALTS Content at Markets Group.
Ms. Stevens has been working in financial services for the past seven years, focusing on private capital, capital markets and banking research and content creation. Prior to joining Markets Group Ms. Stevens worked at Informa producing content for private equity and private credit forums across Europe, Asia, and the US.
Ms. Stevens is based in London and holds a BA (Hons) in Politics with International Relations from the University of York and a MA in International Political Economy from King’s College London.
Nick joined Markets Group in May 2022 as a Senior Reporter, with a focus on institutional investors and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. He is a former speed-desk editor at South African publication Business Day and wrote for Hong Kong-based wealth management magazine Asian Private Banker. Nick also has extensive experience as a communications consultant, having worked in climate communications and on banking accounts while at Edelman, the world’s largest public relations firm. Nick has an honors degree in economics and is currently based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Ms. Gorlatova is part of the Markets Group Hedge Fund Investor team with responsibility for Institutional Investor and Family Office relations in the US Pacific Region, Midwest and New York. Prior to joining Markets Group, Ms. Gorlatova worked as a Research Associate at Euromoney Institutional Investor. Ms. Gorlatova earned a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Investments.

Prior to joining Markets Group, Olivia worked as a Management Trainee in DBS Bank for two years after graduation and then as Delegate Acquisition Manager with Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC and AsianInvestor from Haymarket Media Pte Ltd covering APAC forums.
Olivia was born and raised in Hong Kong. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Management at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013.
Olivia Obregon is a Client Relations Manager for the ALTS Series at Markets Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, Olivia has held various Client Manager roles within corporate risk broking and consulting for the Financial Services and Real Estate sectors. Olivia has a B.S. in Marketing from Providence College. She is currently based in Miami, FL.
Orlanda Poblete has been in Singapore for more than 8 years now. She has sold delegate seats, as well as sponsorship sales for three different leading event companies based in Singapore. Ms. Poblete is born and raised in Manila, Philippines. A Mass Communication graduate, having English and Tagalog as her major languages.
Palmera McGuire is Head of European Content at Markets Group working with institutional and private wealth investors.
She has a decade’s experience of content creation and production in the events industry with roles at Informa and Investment and Pensions Europe (IPE). Her experience spans traditional and
alternative asset classes as well as risk management in the banking and insurance industries.
Ms. McGuire is based in London and holds a BA Hons degree in English Studies from the University of Nottingham.
Paola Segura heads up Markets Group’s Singapore office and oversees the Asia Pacific business. She has experience in Investor Relations, engaging with Institutional and Private Wealth investors through investment meetings to aid them with strategic manager selection. Prior to moving to Singapore, Paola was responsible for Markets Group’s Institutional client relationships in the EMEA region assisting asset managers in building relationships with pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and investment consultants.
Ms. Segura is both Colombian and American and was raised in France. She speaks Spanish, English and French, and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Mr. Egan heads up Markets Group’s Delegate Sales efforts throughout the world and is also responsible for sponsorship sales within the Private Equity Group. Prior to working for Markets Group, Mr. Egan played baseball at Southern Connecticut State University in Connecticut. Rebecca Agheli is responsible for business development and client relations across the APAC region, primarily forcing on Australia and NZ marketplace.
Prior to joining the Markets Group, Mrs Agheli was the Event Director at Terrapin Australia. Prior to Terrapin Australia, Mrs Agheli was the Division Director at Akolade heading the Public Sector division.
Mrs, Agheli is both Iranian and Australian and speaks English and Farsi and holds a degree in Marketing, Advertising and Sales”
Roberta Dalla is a Client Relations Manager for the Private Equity Group at Markets Group. Prior to Markets Group she worked in marketing and Business development roles in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile) and New York City . Roberta spends a large part of her time working closely with Institutional Investors and Private Equity fund administrators.
Roberta is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and has a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and Marketing.
Samantha Cullum is an Investor Relations Program Manager at Markets Group, contributing to the North American Institutional Series. Prior to joining Markets Group, she worked as a Conference Producer for WORKTECH Events, developing and managing a portfolio of global workplace & technology forums across the US, Europe and APAC. Samantha also has experience in marketing, sponsorship sales, client management and non-profit fundraising.
Samantha is based in San Diego and holds a BA in Sociology from California State University, Chico.
Sara Cousins is part of Markets Group’s Private Equity team, responsible for investor relations and program management. Prior to joining Markets Group, Sara managed LP, GP and industry relationships for the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA). She has also held positions in fundraising at Columbia Law School and oversaw Columbia University alumni networks across Europe and the Middle East. Sara earned her BA in Economics and Global Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. She is an avid traveler, having extensive experience living and working internationally, and enjoys teaching yoga locally in NYC.
Shakayra, originally from Vienna, Austria, contributes to the production and program management of the European and APAC Private Wealth & Institutional Series through content formulation, investor relations and event planning. Prior to Markets Group, Shakayra worked as a delegate acquisition executive for the Financial Times, one of the largest newspapers in Europe, based in London, U.K.
Shakayra graduated from South Bank University with an Honors degree in Law and having grown up bilingual, is fluent in both German and English.
Siofra is based in the UK and works with our Institutional/Private Wealth teams covering sponsorship relationships for the Forums in Europe. Prior to Markets Group she worked in Business Development at IPE Real Assets for 8 years covering all media across Real Estate, Forestry, Agriculture and Infrastructure.
She holds a BA Hons degree in Modern Languages and Business from the University of Nottingham.
Stephanie Nesslein is a Client Relations Manager for the Institutional Investors Series at Markets Group. Stephanie has experience in marketing, sales, and client services, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Kansas. She is currently based in Kansas City.
Mr. Raleigh is responsible for financial management and strategic planning for Markets Group. Prior to MG, he held financial and management positions at Progressive Insurance. Mr. Raleigh graduated with honors in Political Science at Kent State University in Ohio.
Tom Hind is responsible for business development across the US Private Wealth Forum Group. Prior to joining the Markets Group, Mr. Hind was the Director of Sales for the RIA Institute at Institutional Investor. Prior to Institutional Investor, Mr. Hind spent over a decade in asset management distribution with such firms as AllianceBernstein, JP Morgan and J&W Seligman. Mr. Hind graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing.
Vanessa Orlarey has been working for more than 5 years for leading Financial Publishing & Media companies in the UK, covering European markets, both buyside and sell-side, within the Asset Management and Wealth Management industry.
Previously Head of Fund Selector Relationships for InvestmentEurope brand at Incisive Media, she was focusing on Fund Selectors attendance at events & distribution contacts, managing a team of 5 and developing Diversity projects in Europe.
Beforehand, she was the first Head of Sales Italy based in Milan at Citywire, in charge of the Italian market and its sales revenue across the different product lines: Events, Digital, Print and Research.
Vanessa began her career in the financial services market in London as International Events Sales Manager at Citywire, responsible for the main European markets, with a focus on Italy but she was coming from a decade of experience in the Luxury Hospitality sector where she drove and developed Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions business.
As Head of APAC Content, Victoria leads Market Group’s prime relationships with institutional investors and keynotes, building mutually beneficial global networks between investor peers. In this role, she oversees the development of the company’s market leading programmes for events and investor round tables.
Prior to joining Market Group, Victoria steered member relations and investor programs as Director at a non-profit organization in the unlisted real estate funds sector. A seasoned, international professional, Victoria has led markets in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
Victoria was born and educated in England and relocated to Hong Kong in 2010 where she has built her career over a decade and become a permanent resident. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, wellness, horse riding, is a passionate advocate for community projects and is an active volunteer at Sunbeam Children’s Foundation.
Will Hamilton-Hill is responsible for Sponsor Relationships and Client Development within the Hedge Fund Forum Group.
Prior to joining the Markets Group, Will has held multiple Sales Management roles within the Conference, Media/Publishing and Market Research industries. With specialty focuses on Pharmaceutical, IT, Healthcare, Financial and Energy sectors.

Mr. Coba is Head of Institutional Relations for North America at Markets Group. He is responsible for key relationships with direct allocators within US Public & Corporate Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Institutional Consultants, Endowments, Foundations, Insurance Companies & Healthcare Systems to aid them in increasing their portfolio efficiency and investment returns through relevant event content and strategic manager selection. Mr. Coba has ten plus years of industry experience, including a tenure as an assistant vice president within Global Consultant Relations / Institutional Sales & Distribution at Nuveen / TIAA, and as a Senior Relationship Manager for US and International investment banks, hedge funds and other asset managers building relationships with institutional asset owners globally. His background includes experience in domestic and international business development, investor relations, capital introduction & event management with senior buy & sell side investment professionals, high net worth individuals and C-level executives for B2B conferences. Mr. Coba attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he majored in International Business and Marketing.
William is Head of People Ops with Markets Group in NYC. He is heavily involved with our foreign operations in the UK and Singapore, and enjoys navigating the difficult landscapes that different cultures and ecosystems present in the world of business. Prior to this, William managed a youth gymnastics facility where he taught several classes a day with ages ranging from 3-12 years old. In his spare time, he enjoys making music, rock-climbing and bowling. William earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he studied Management and Business Administration.
William is the Operations Manager with Markets Group in NYC. Will has been in the Private Equity world for 8 years. Prior to joining, Will was known as the man with many hats helping in every department in his previous roles. On his free time, he loves to travel, listen to music, watch movies, and explore new cuisines. Will has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York for Design and Technology and minoring in Animation.
Yokaze Ito is an Investor Relations & Program Manager at Markets Group. Previously, she was managing a Japanese institutional investor database at Preqin, covering the alternative assets market. Yokaze graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in General Business Studies.
Zung is based in Prague, The Czech Republic, and takes care of investor relations and production at Markets Group. Previously, she worked on a wide range of projects across Asia, including FinTech conferences, Marketing events and study programs for MBA cohorts. Zung holds a Master's degree in Media Studies.
