Adam Raleigh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Markets Group, the world’s leading conference organizer serving the investment management industry. Mr. Raleigh founded the firm in 2009. Since then, Markets Group has grown to 90 team members and offices in New York, London and Singapore. Markets Group has run nearly 500 conferences in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East and has been recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. through ranking in the Inc 500. Additionally, Markets Group publishes Institutional Allocator Magazine - the leading print magazine for the institutional investor community in the United States.
Mr. Raleigh is a board member of Trout Unlimited’s Coldwater Conservation Fund (TU), Friends of the Upper Delaware River (FUDR) and Friends of Mount Sinai
Prior to Markets Group, Mr. Raleigh was a fixed income broker and developed investor education programs for IMN-Euromoney, Institutional Investor Awards and other leading firms focused on the needs of investors worldwide. Additionally, Mr. Raleigh has held series 7 and 63 licenses.
Mr. Raleigh, a native of Cleveland, OH, is a graduate of Kent State University, where he earned a B.A. in Finance.
Adena, a New York native, contributes to the production and program management of the U.S. Private Wealth Series through content formulation, investor relations and event planning. Prior to Markets Group, Adena reported and provided editorial assistance for InvestmentWires, a financial publication based in New York City.
Adena graduated from Pace University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a Journalism concentration.
Aisha is responsible for client relations within the Private Wealth series focusing on single and multi-family offices in Europe. Prior to joining Markets Group Aisha held an Investor Relations position in the financial sector. She specializes in pursuing strategic opportunities for high net worth individuals, private banks, wealth managers and family offices. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics and Philosophy from University at Albany. In her free time when she isn’t traveling the world, she assists crowdfunding campaigns for a non-profit organization dedicated to serving humanity through disaster relief, medical care, education, and other developmental projects.
Mr. Ortiz heads the production practice at Markets Group. He’s been Head of Production for Institutional Events in LatAm and leads the Production EMEA team. Mr. Ortiz studied Political Science in Madison, Wisconsin and mastered in International Political Economy at New York University. Prior to joining Markets Group, Mr. Ortiz managed account relations at ACCION USA in New York, worked as an independent researcher in Curitiba, Brazil and handled management and financial services for different enterprises in Wisconsin. Mr. Ortiz was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.
Ann Lee is responsible for production and program management at Markets Group for the US Institutional Investor group. Prior to joining the company, she worked in data research and as an educator in Indiana and New York public schools. Ms. Lee received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 2015.
Over the past few years, Ayse has worked on building client and community relationships- as a conference producer, and community liaison at a technology company, respectively. In her previous life, she has dedicated herself to publicly funded projects, including, through the United Nations, and a non-profit in Morocco. She holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in International Politics, and is passionate about languages and travel.
Born in Brooklyn, New York Bennett has a BA in Psychology from Albany University and an MS in Counseling from Mercy College. His previous experiences are in customer service, financial aid, educational admissions, financial services, and high-frequency equity trading.
Mr. Friedberg heads up Markets Group’s Sponsor Relationships and Client Development throughout the world. Prior to Markets Group, he spent ten years in wealth management working with both retail and institutional investors in dealing with a wide array of financial instruments. Mr. Friedberg graduated from Binghamton University with a BS degree in Financial Economics and also attended Fordham Law School.
Mr. Intemann is responsible for production as well as investor relations. Prior to Markets Group he worked for an events and marketing company. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2016 with a BA in Economics.
Chris Glynn is a member of the Institutional Forums production team at Markets Group, having previously worked for its U.S. Private Wealth group. Prior to Markets Group, he headed financial communication for the New York Society of Security Analysts (now CFA Society New York). A longtime editorial and financial professional, he graduated from Montclair State University before joining Institutional Investor, Thomson Reuters and PEI Media.
Mr. Hoarty a recent graduate of Quinnipiac University Class of 2017 obtained a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Management and International Business. Christopher also attended The Institute for American University in Aix-en-Provence, France to study and work for fashion powerhouse Fendi in both the Paris and New York office. Christopher’s past experience at Fendi was a role in Business development and client relations, creating business and brand awareness strategies for Fendi Casa the company’s lifestyle line.
Cory is responsible for business development and client relations across the U.S and Canada Institutional Series. Prior to joining Markets Group Cory held positions in the banking and financial services industry. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Adelphi University where he was a member of the lacrosse team.
Esteban is responsible for client relations at Markets Group. He works on the U.S. Institutional Real Estate Investors Group helping to build relationships between asset managers and pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and investment consultants. He is an accomplished professional with 12+ years of progressive experience in inside sales and business development. Strong expertise in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, directing go-to-market campaigns, and negotiating deals to accelerate business development and revenue growth. He is originally from the New York and earned his degree in Business Management at UOPX.
Georgia Quinones is responsible for the program development for the US Institutional Investor group. Prior to joining Markets Group, Mrs. Quinones worked as a client service manager for an independent RIA as well as Euromoney Institutional Investor, both in Europe and in the US. Mrs. Quinones received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and a Post-Graduate Certificate in International Business from St. Mary’s University in London.
Gerlim hails from the Dominican Republic. She holds a B.A. in Marketing from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre & Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic; a M.A. in Corporate Communications from EAE Business School in Madrid, Spain and a M.A. in Image, Publicity and Corporate Identity from Universidad Camilo José Cela in Madrid, Spain. Speaks English and Spanish fluently.
After wearing different hats, Giseli now oversees all logistics & operations for Markets Group globally. Prior to Markets Group, she has held positions with Banco Nossa Caixa (Banco do Brasil), Santander Bank and UNICAMP (University of Campinas). Giseli is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Sao Paulo. She earned a BA Degree in Business and Marketing from Escola Superior de Administração e Comunicação in Brazil, an MA Degree in Economics and International Business from the City University of New York, and has attended executive classes at NYU and Columbia University.
Jade Benoit supports the sales team by maintaining client relationships across European and Latin American markets.
Prior to joining the team, Jade managed stakeholders for real estate conferences across the US and served as an adjunct professor at College of Staten Island.
Jade holds a B.A. in English Literature from Louisiana State University, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing from UNC-Wilmington.
Jane is a London based project manager of EMEA investor forums. Prior to that, she was a Senior Conference Producer at PEI Media looking after private equity real estate and real estate debt events. Before that Jane was a Project Director at the GRI Club responsible for investor meetings in Russia and UK.
Mr. Peet is Co-Head of North American Institutional Production & Investor Relations at Markets Group. He is responsible for overlooking the production of sixteen annual events and for managing key relationships with Public & Corporate Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Endowments, Foundations, Insurance Companies, Healthcare Systems, and Institutional Consultanting Firms. Mr. Peet has been with the company since April 2016. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at College of Charleston in 2012 and initially pursued a career in Marine Biology. For two years, he worked with NOAA to manage conservation efforts of the Northeast Atlantic fishery.
Javier Grullon is responsible for the business development and client engagement within the Institutional Real Estate and Alternative Investment team. Mr. Grullon graduated from Syracuse University with a concentration in International Business and is driven by his passion to make a difference in the Community.
Jesse Collin is responsible for program management and investor relations for the Alternatives team at Markets Group. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 4.5 years organizing conferences focused on new developments in quantitative investing, algorithmic trading and financial engineering for the institutional marketplace. Jesse grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and earned his B.A. in Journalism from The University of South Carolina in Columbia. He is an emerging technology enthusiast and a lover of all things Carolina Panthers and South Carolina Gamecocks.
Mr. Zajas is responsible for marketing outreach and new business development across all all sectors (Real Estate, Private Equity, Alternatives, Private Wealth, and Institutional Investor Teams). He is responsible for generating new leads and attracting new business to these sectors through various marketing tactics. He also responsible for in house data development and marketing budgets.
He has previously worked in the financial sector at Bank of America. He holds a degree in International Business from Canisius College in Buffalo.
Joyce Riley is an Operations Associate at Markets Group. She is originally from The Gambia West Africa, and has spent the past decade traveling around the world. Joyce holds a BSC in Agriculture from National Pingtung University Of Science & Technology in Taiwan, a Masters in Tourism Development and a Masters in Events and Luxury Management from Barcelona Spain. Prior to joining Markets Group she worked as a project manager for a World Bank-funded development project in Africa training women and youth on entrepreneurship and business development, and later as conference planner at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Arts Barcelona. In her free time, she organizes events that fund her charity organization which provides funding for university education for less privileged girls in Africa.
Kaitlyn is a program manager, working in investor relations on the U.S. institutional forum team at Markets Group. She was previously a journalist writing for the magazine Institutional Allocator. She spent two years covering commercial real estate at Real Estate Finance & Investment magazine. Prior to that she worked as a curation manager at Stringr, a breaking news startup. Kait graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from New York University in 2014 with a concentration in magazine writing. She has contributed to Time Out New York, Mic, Bedford + Bowery, DNAinfo New York and Gotham Magazine.
Karishna manages programs in the Latin America and Europe event series through content formulation, investor relations and event planning. Previously, she coordinated and managed strategic promotional partnerships at Markets Group to generate leads across all sectors (Real Estate, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Private Wealth, Energy & Infrastructure, and Institutional Investor Teams). Karishna was born and raised in the Bronx and a New York Yankees fan.
Ken Sulfaro is responsible for business development and client engagement on the Private Equity team. He has a well-versed background in capital markets. Ken graduated from Syracuse University with a concentration in finance.
Logan is from NYC. He has worked with C-Level executives for many events behalf of Operations for Alternatives, Hedge Fund Compliance and the Legal Marketing Association at American Conference Institute. Prior to working here, Logan worked over at GDS and CBS sports. He also enjoys playing sports and traveling throughout the world.
Mandy Lam is a Program Manager at Markets Group based in Singapore Office, responsible for Investor relations. Prior to joining the firm, she has years of experience in organizing events for the financial services industry across the Asia Pacific region including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia.
Hailing from Singapore, Mandy is fluent in English and Mandarin and is passionate about traveling.
Ms. Tatis is a Colombian national, responsible for investor relations for the European Private Wealth Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, she held positions as a Hewlett Packard Product Manager for Polux Suministros, a technology company in Colombia, and a Jobber Supplies for Hewlett Packard Colombia.
Mr. Tattersall is based in London works with our Institutional team covering sponsorship relationships for the Forums in Europe. Prior to Markets Group he was at Informa covering a diverse portfolio including Hedge Funds, Corporate Finance, Alternatives and Energy and Infrastructure. Mr. Tattersall graduated with a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds.
Mr. Laurent is responsible for production as well as investor relations across Europe for multi-asset and asset-specific meetings. Prior to Markets Group, he was a Business Development Specialist for consulting firms in Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta. Mr. Laurent has graduated from Montpellier Business School in France and earned a Master’s degree in International Business.
Michael is responsible for the business development and client engagement within the Private Equity Series in the US, Europe & Latin America. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Adelphi University, with a concentration in Finance. Michael has prior conference experience at ExL Events based in NYC, as well as financial firm experience while working at BlackRock Finacial.
Michael Martinez is a Program Manager at Markets Group. Prior to joining the company, he worked in producing dynamic informational global pharmaceutical and healthcare events. Mr. Martinez has also worked in Events and Marketing for a retail software company based in New York. Michael holds his degree from DeVry University.
Michelet graduated from Rutgers University with a BS degree in Labor Studies and Management. Worked at First standard financial as a junior broker and is now bringing those talents to Markets Group with a focus on our Alternative series team as a Delegate Relations Associate.
Nawshad Noorkhan is responsible for the business development and client engagement across EMEA within the Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Markets Group, Nawshad was the Head of Commercial at the Financial Times based out of London and was responsible for the Wealth and Asset Management forums business globally.
Prior to this, Mr. Noorkhan has held a variety of senior commercial positions with some of the world’s leading event businesses including Terrapin, Globaldata and Euromoney PLC where he was responsible for forecasting, team management and the profitability of multiple global event portfolios.
Nawshad spends a large part of his time working closely with institutional investors, fund managers and other leading asset managers and has gained valuable experience advising on capital raising efforts in a variety of complex and emerging markets.
Ms. Gorlatova is part of the Markets Group Hedge Fund Investor team with responsibility for Institutional Investor and Family Office relations in the US Pacific Region, Midwest and New York. Prior to joining Markets Group, Ms. Gorlatova worked as a Research Associate at Euromoney Institutional Investor. Ms. Gorlatova earned a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Investments.

Orlanda Poblete has been in Singapore for more than 8 years now. She has sold delegate seats, as well as sponsorship sales for three different leading event companies based in Singapore. She is now working with Markets Group, Singapore as a Delegate Relations Associate, handling the areas of Institutional Forums, Private Wealth Events, and Alternative Series in APAC.
Ms. Poblete is born and raised in Manila, Philippines. A Mass Communication graduate, having English and Tagalog as her major languages.
Panchali Nucatola is part of the Head of People Operations team here at Markets Group as their People Operations Associate . Prior to joining the team, she has experience in the talent acquisition field working for both staffing agencies and private companies. She also has experience doing campaign work for politicians in the New York City area along with assisting diplomats in their lobbying efforts at the United Nations. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Political Economy Diplomacy with a minor in World Religions from the University of Bridgeport and a Master’s Degree in International Conflict Studies from King’s College London.
Paola Segura heads up Markets Group’s Singapore office and oversees the Asia Pacific business. She has experience in Investor Relations, engaging with Institutional and Private Wealth investors through investment meetings to aid them with strategic manager selection. Prior to moving to Singapore, Paola was responsible for Markets Group’s Institutional client relationships in the EMEA region assisting asset managers in building relationships with pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and investment consultants.
Ms. Segura is both Colombian and American and was raised in France. She speaks Spanish, English and French, and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Mr. Egan heads up Markets Group’s Delegate Sales efforts throughout the world and is also responsible for sponsorship sales within the Private Equity Group. Prior to working for Markets Group, Mr. Egan played baseball at Southern Connecticut State University in Connecticut. Mr. Egan holds a BS degree in Finance from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT.
Shakayra is originally from Vienna, Austria. She has studied at London Southbank University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Law before working in B2B qualitative research and sales, focusing on C-Level contacts in the German financial market. Recently she has been working on The Financial Times’ German and Swiss conferences in London. She also enjoys learning languages and meeting new people.
Ms. Tania Stoia is responsible for all things logistics at our New York City headquarters. She is responsible for managing office operations, as well as providing support to the CEO. She has cultivated 15 years of experience as an Executive Assistant to C-Suite Officers & Board Members in both Hospital Administration and Media Information Technology sector. As a “gatekeeper” her role has been to create win-win situations, and proven effective in comfortably communicating with internal and external partners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ms. Stoia is originally from Lisbon, Portugal and speaks 3 languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English. An avid snowboarder and outdoor enthusiast, she has also dedicated herself to volunteering and helping the less fortunate in her local community.
Taylor Schumacher went to school in Farmingdale for graphic design and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Visual Communications. She has a passion for digital design, as well as painting and watercolor.
Mr. Raleigh is responsible for financial management and strategic planning for Markets Group. Prior to MG, he held financial and management positions at Progressive Insurance. Mr. Raleigh graduated with honors in Political Science at Kent State University in Ohio.
Tom Hind is responsible for business develpment across the US Private Wealth Forum Group. Prior to joining the Markets Group, Mr. Hind was the Director of Sales for the RIA Institute at Institutional Investor. Prior to Institutional Investor, Mr. Hind spent over a decade in asset management distribution with such firms as AllianceBernstein, JP Morgan and J&W Seligman. Mr. Hind graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing.
Mr. Mallon is responsible for Sponsor Relationships and Client Development within the Private Wealth Forum Group. Prior to Markets Group, he spent two years at a full service wealth advisory firm and gained valuable experience in the financial service industry. Mr. Mallon graduated from Babson College with an entrepreneurial mindset in 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in economics.

Tony Patryn is responsible for the management and execution of all IT related issues relating to Markets Group and its employees, as well as being the head of the design department and branding. He is also in charge of maintaining Markets Group's technological infrastructure.
Prior to joining the team, Mr. Patryn was Creative Director for OTRIAD Digital Marketing in NYC and Junior Art Director for Brierton Design in Chicago, in which he was an essential asset to the company winning multiple awards for integrated marketing campaigns.
Mr. Patryn holds an Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Graphic Design and Multimedia from Westwood College of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Columbia College in Chicago.
Vito joined Markets Group in March 2019, where he is responsible for the production as well as Investor Relations for the US Private Wealth division. Prior to joining Markets Group, Vito gained valuable experience working at Orion Worldwide in the Investment sector.
Vito is a recent graduate from Binghamton University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Financial Economics in 2018.
Mr. Coba is Co-Head of North American Institutional Investor Relations at Markets Group. He is responsible for key relationships with direct allocators within US Public & Corporate Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Consultants, Endowments / Foundations, Insurance Companies & Healthcare Systems to aid them in increasing their portfolio efficiency and investment returns through strategic manager selection. Mr. Coba has eight-plus years of industry experience, including a tenure as an assistant vice president within the global consultant relations at Nuveen / TIAA, and as a senior relationship manager for US and international investment banks, hedge funds and other asset managers building relationships with institutional asset owners globally. His background includes experience in domestic and international business development, investor relations, capital introduction & event management with senior buy & sell side investment professionals, high net worth individuals and C-level executives for B2B conferences, private charter aviation and general client relations efforts. Mr. Coba attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he majored in international business and Marketing.
William is Head of People Ops with Markets Group in NYC. He is heavily involved with our foreign operations in the UK and Singapore, and enjoys navigating the difficult landscapes that different cultures and ecosystems present in the world of business. Prior to this, William managed a youth gymnastics facility where he taught several classes a day with ages ranging from 3-12 years old. In his spare time, he enjoys making music, rock-climbing and bowling. William earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he studied Management and Business Administration.
Bill works as a Business Development Associate for the US & Canada Institutional Real Estate division. Prior to Markets Group he worked for private wealth management teams at Merrill Lynch and Stifel Nicolaus. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BS in General Business/Commerce.
Xiang Qin is a Program Manager at Markets Group. Prior to joining the firm, Xiang Qin was a conference manager at a leading events company and has helped to produce and put together conferences in various industries.
Hailing from Singapore, Xiang Qin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
