IFM Investors, a global investment manager owned by pension funds, has announced the appointment of John Gee-Grant as its Head of Global Client Solutions, effective from May 3, 2023. In this role, Gee-Grant will be based in London and will lead IFM’s Client Solutions business globally. His responsibilities include establishing strong partnerships with clients and investors, contributing to the achievement of investment goals, and executing IFM’s client strategy. With over 30 years of industry experience, Gee-Grant brings a wealth of knowledge to IFM, having held senior global roles in sales, business strategy, and client relations. His most recent positions were with PGIM and BlackRock.
John Gee-Grant previously served as the Managing Director and Head of International Distribution and Global Consultant Relations at PGIM Quantitative Solutions. In this role, he played a key role in developing sales and client services outside the United States. Before joining PGIM, Gee-Grant held the position of Managing Director at BlackRock. During his 30-year career with the firm, he served as a member of the Global and Regional Institutional Executive Committees, led Consultant Relations globally, and held leadership roles in research, marketing, and institutional client relationship management.
Reporting to Chief Strategy Officer Luba Nikulina, John Gee-Grant will take on the role of Head of Global Client Solutions at IFM Investors. Luba Nikulina, who joined IFM in September 2022 after nearly two decades at WTW, focuses on expanding the business globally with an emphasis on strategy, sustainability, public affairs, and marketing. In her capacity, she oversees a growing global team across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Asia, and Australia.
