John Graham, President & CEO of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), has announced the immediate appointment of Manroop Jhooty as Senior Managing Director & Head of Total Fund Management.
In his new role, Jhooty will oversee the Total Fund Management department, leading the balancing and financing portfolio invested in global public securities, as well as managing balance sheets, tactical positioning, trading, and portfolio design.
Jhooty, who joined CPP Investments in 2019, has progressively taken on senior roles, most recently serving as Managing Director, Head of Exposure, Leverage and Liquidity Management. He has experience leading cross-Fund initiatives and previously held various fixed income and credit trading positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Jhooty holds a BCom from McMaster University and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
