Private Wealth Asia Forum Singapore | March 24, 2020 Request Agenda


The Private Wealth Asia Forum is the flagship meeting for our private wealth series in Asia and the leading wealth management, wealth planning and international investment management meeting for private banks, wealth managers and family offices from Asia.

The investor focused meeting brings together 300 industry leaders from the private wealth management field for a one-day conference discussing strategies to protect, preserve and grow wealth.

SERIES KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Chen Ding, Chief Executive Officer, CSOP Asset Management

Ms. Chen Ding is the Chief Executive Officer of CSOP Asset Management Limited which is the Hong Kong subsidiary of China Southern Asset Management, where she took up the position in 2010 and led the company into becoming the largest RQFII manager globally. Ms. Ding was also Assistant Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of China Southern Asset Management Co. Ltd. (“CSAM”) from 2003 to 2013. During her tenor at CSAM, she successfully established its Qualified Domestic Institutional Investor (“QDII”) business to issue China’s first public QDII fund which went on to become the largest in the nation. Ms. Ding also serves as Chairperson of the Chinese Asset Management Association of Hong Kong.


Sung Cheng Chih, Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer, Avanda

Cheng Chih joined the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) in 1993 and retired as Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer in 2011. Over the intervening years, Cheng Chih worked to enhance GIC’s capabilities in risk management, asset allocation, currency management, portfolio rebalancing, performance measurement, and treasury management. In late 2014, Cheng Chih set up Avanda Investment Management, a global asset management company based in Singapore, along with long-time GIC colleagues Ng Kok Song and Quah Wee Ghee. With assets under management of US$6 billion, Avanda strives to serve the investment needs of long-term asset owners by providing global multi-asset investment solutions and Asia-centric investment strategies.
