The 5th Annual Private Equity Europe Forum is the leading investor-centric event for LPs investing in private markets across Europe and globally.

The forum brings together investors, fund managers, and advisers for a one-day meeting to discuss sectors, due diligence, and private equity investment opportunities in Europe and around the world.

This investor-focused event provides a due diligence forum for European and international pension funds, foundations, endowments, fund of funds, family offices, wealth managers, consultants, and sovereign wealth funds interested in direct research on private investment opportunities.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Adarsh Sarma , Managing Director, Co-Head of Europe, Warburg Pincus

Adarsh Sarma is based in London and Co-Heads the European business. Prior to this, he led the Technology investment activities in Europe. Mr. Sarma joined Warburg Pincus as a Principal in 2005 in New York, where he was responsible for leading the firm’s Payments and Education related investing. Mr. Sarma is currently a Director of The AA, Fortius, In-spired Group, PTSG and Quantexa. Since joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Sarma has been involved with numerous investments including Visma, FIS/Metavante, InComm, EFS, Av-aloq, Accelya, Bridgepoint Education, Liaison International, Stratford, NEOGOV, Wall Street Systems, ACAMS and MLM Information Services among others. Mr. Sarma serves on the Board of Pratham USA, one of India’s largest not for-profit organizations and is also a mem-ber of the Polsky Center Private Equity Council at the University of Chicago.

David Atterbury, Head of EMEA, Managing Director, HarbourVest

David Atterbury joined HarbourVest in 2004. He is currently head of the firm’s London office and co-leads the firm’s secondary investment activity in Europe. During his tenure, David has led a number of European secondary transactions, including Absolute Private Equity and SVG Capital plc. David serves serves on a number of European fund advisory boards. David joined HarbourVest after five years with Abbey National Treasury Services Plc, where he was Director of Private Equity. His responsibilities at Abbey National included the devel-opment of a direct private equity portfolio and the subsequent disposal of a large diversified portfolio of partnership commitments and direct holdings.

Christopher Masek, CEO, IK Partners

Christopher Masek joined IK Partners in 2000 and established the Firm’s French team. He became Chief Executive Officer in 2015. Since then, Christopher has led the transformation of the business from a single-strategy, Nordic-focused buyout house, to a multi-strategy, pan-European firm, more than doubling the number of staff and assets under management. Over the years, he has been involved in investments across all of IK’s geographies and funds, serving on the board of several businesses. He is also the Chairman of IKARE, the venture philanthropy arm of IK Partners.

Tarek Mahmoud, Chairman, BlackRock Alternative Investors, EMEA

Tarek is a member of the BAI global leadership team and a member of the EMEA Executive Committee.Prior to joining BlackRock in 2014, Mr. Mahmoud ran Sovereignty Capital UK, a risk advisory and wealth management firm, which he founded in 2010. Previously, Mr. Mahmoud worked in several executive positions across capital markets, including Bank of America where he was Head of EMEA Sales and EMEA Equities. Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Mahmoud held senior management roles at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Gen Re Financial Products, ING-Barings, and Banker's Trust. Mr. Mahmoud earned a BA degree from Universite Aix-Marseilles in Economics in 1980 and a MBA degree from Bab-son College in 1983.

Tony Dalwood, CEO, Gresham House

Tony has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gresham House plc since December 2014. He chairs the Investment Committees of Gresham House plc and Strategic Equity Capital plc. He led the management buy-in and established a new management team that trans-formed the firm from an investment trust into the listed specialist asset manager it is today with over £7bn AUM. Tony has over 25 years of investment experience and holds an MA in Management Studies from the University of Cambridge (where he was also a junior rugby international and Blue).

Peder Prahl, CEO & Managing Partner, Triton Partners

Peder is an Investment Advisory Professional and a member of the Investment Advisory Committees for all Triton funds. As CEO & Managing Partner he is responsible for the execution of the firm’s strategy and overall investment activities, a role he has held since inception of Triton. His sector focus is services and health.Prior to founding Triton in 1997, Peder was a partner at Doughty Hanson & Co. and worked for Morgan Stanley in New York and London. He has an MBA and a degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
