The 4th Annual Private Equity Europe Forum is the leading investor centric meeting for LPs investing in private markets across Europe and globally.

The forum brings together investors, fund managers, and advisers for a two day meeting to discuss sectors, due diligence, and private equity investment opportunities in Europe and around the world.

The investor-focused event provides a due diligence forum for European and international pension funds, foundations, endowments, fund of funds, family offices, wealth managers, consultants, and sovereign wealth funds interested in direct research on private investment opportunities.

Session topics cover the entire spectrum of private equity investments, from sector-specific sessions on venture capital to discussions on global buyout opportunities and roundtables of leading global institutional investors discussing their specific investment appetites.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Oliver Haarmann, Founding Partner, Searchlight Capital Partners

Mr. Haarmann is a Founding Partner of Searchlight, and is jointly responsible for overseeing the Firm’s activities with the two other Founding Partners. Mr. Haarmann serves on various portfolio company boards. Prior to co-founding Searchlight, Mr. Haarmann was a partner of KKR & Co L.P. in London. He serves as a trustee of ArtAngel, Brown University, IntoUniversity, and Surgo Foundation. He graduated from Brown University with BA degrees in International Relations and History and received an MBA from Harvard Business School. 


Hazem Ben-Gacem, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Investcorp

Hazem Ben-Gacem is Investcorp's Co-Chief Executive Officer leading the firm's Private Equity business in Europe, Middle East and Asia, its infrastructure investment business, its GCC Private Wealth platform and its Investor Relationships team globally.

Hazem currently serves in the board of the Italian luxury clothing retailer Corneliani, and the Hong Kong based premium food retailer City Super. Prior to his Co-CEO appointment, Hazem led Investcorp's European private equity and Technology private equity teams. Before joining Investcorp in 1994, Hazem was a member of Credit Suisse First Boston's mergers and acquisitions team in New York.

Hazem holds a bachelor’s degree with honours from Harvard University. He is also the founder of the Harvard Office in Tunisia, the first formal presence for Harvard University in the Arab world and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Oxford's Middle East Centre. Until 2020 Hazem was a serving member on the Tunisian National Shooting Team, achieving a bronze medal in the 2017 African Shooting Championships.
