The board of RIT Capital Partners plc (RIT) has announced the appointment of Maggie Fanari as the Chief Executive Officer of its investment manager, J Rothschild Capital Management Limited (JRCM). Maggie is set to assume the role of CEO in March 2024.
Maggie brings extensive experience in leading successful teams involved in investments across various asset classes and geographical regions. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director and Global Group Head of High Conviction Equities at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP), she has been a part of OTPP since 2006.
Maggie will assume the position of CEO at J Rothschild Capital Management Limited (JRCM), succeeding Francesco Goedhuis. Due to a family illness, Francesco Goedhuis will transition from his role as CEO to serve as a senior advisor to the company. The Board expresses gratitude to Francesco for his extended service and the significant achievements during his tenure as CEO.
Maggie, who has served as a non-executive director at RIT for the past four years, will resign from the Board of RIT upon assuming her new role as CEO of J Rothschild Capital Management Limited (JRCM).
