Laura, previously VP Corporate Controller since joining the company in 2016, played a crucial role in the firm's financial planning and analysis functions. With experience at NYSE Euronext and Vela Trading, she brings valuable expertise in the fintech sector.
Laura McCann commented on her promotion, highlighting her integral role in acquisitions, including the purchase and integration of Fixnetix and Activ Financial, as well as major private equity investments. Jon Lambert expressed excitement about transitioning to a new role and supporting Laura and the expanded team.
Laura's appointment as CFO is part of a series of key leadership appointments at Options, reflecting the company's growth strategy. The news follows the announcement of 200 new jobs in Belfast and marks the firm's 30-year milestone. Options received investment from Abry Partners in December 2019, enabling accelerated growth and technology platform development.
