Neuberger Berman raises $2.8B for co-investment Fund V

Neuberger Berman has closed its NB Strategic Co-Investment Partners V fund with over $2.8 billion in commitments, surpassing its $2.25 billion target. The oversubscribed fund highlights sustained investor demand for co-investment strategies and strengthens Neuberger’s position as a top player in the space, now managing over $40 billion in co-investment capital.

Fund V aims to build a diversified, global portfolio of direct equity co-investments alongside premier private equity sponsors. The fund attracted a wide range of investors including pensions, insurers, foundations, family offices, and HNW individuals.

Neuberger has raised $6 billion in co-investment capital since January 2024 and leverages its $140 billion private markets platform and 195+ professionals to source high-quality deal flow. The firm partners closely with over 380 lead sponsors worldwide to deliver scalable and timely capital solutions.
