Hoon Lee is Chief Investment Officer of Korea Investment Corporation. Previously, Mr. Lee served as the head of KIC’s Investment Strategy & Innovation Division and Public Market Division. Since joining KIC in 2014, he has also led the Asset Allocation Group, Investment Strategy Group and Research Group. Prior to KIC, Mr. Lee worked as an equity analyst at Korea Investment Securities, Woori Investment Securities and Samsung Securities and as a portfolio manager at Macquarie-IMM asset management and Daewoo Capital Management. Mr. Lee has a B.A. in economics from Sogang University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a CFA charterholder.

He is an investment professional with 17 years of experience in managing various Global Equity portfolios and Strategic Asset Allocation for Korea Investment Corporation, which is the sovereign wealth fund of South Korea. He is currently leading the strategic asset allocation as Senior Director of Investment Strategy & Innovation Group at KIC. Prior to the current role, he had built and managed various global equity portfolios and relevant platforms for both quantitative and fundamental strategies as a founding member of direct global equity team at KIC since 2007. Previously, he also worked in the model validation team at Shinhan Bank. He holds a MA in Management Engineering at KAIST and a BA in Economics at Korea University. He is currently a PhD candidate of Data Strategy Laboratory at KAIST.

Seonghun Min is a professor in the Department of Urban Planning and Real Estate at the University of Suwon. He researches real estate finance focusing on investment strategy, benchmark index, and ESG integration. He authored two books: ‘Real Estate Investment’ and ‘ESG, The Future of Investment’. He serves as the member of the Alternative Investment Committee of National Pension Service and Government Employees Pension Service and served as the member of the Asset Management Committee of Housing and Urban Fund, which are representative public funds in Korea.

Dongkwan Han is Investment Team Leader at Sung Dam, a leading Korean single family office. With over 16 years of experience in alternative investments, he oversees approximately USD 500 million across real asset, private equity, and venture capital globally.
His professional background spans institutional investing, asset management, and corporate strategic investment at Samsung Life Insurance, the National Pension Service, Platform Partners Asset Management, and Samsung C&T, allowing him to build a strong global network and a well-rounded perspective on portfolio construction.

Jaewon Park is Head of Public Asset Investment and Chief Strategist at Shinhan Asset Management SLAMS, where she oversees portfolio strategy across both public and private assets, while managing liquid portfolios including equities, fixed income, and credits for Shinhan Life Insurance. Her responsibilities range from long-term asset allocation to day-to-day trading oversight, integraring top-down strategy with practical execution. She previously held key roles at the National Pension Service (NPS), Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), and Schroders as a strategist and portfolio manager, and began her career as a FICC specialist at ANZ, Barclays, and Hana Bank. This combined experience across buy-side and sell-side institutions has given her a comprehensive perspective on global markets. Jaewon holds a B.A. in Economics from Korea University and an M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and is also certified in economic forecasting by the International Institute of Forecasters (IIF). From 2021 to July 2025, Jaewon served as a Chapter Executive of the CAIA Association. In 2025, she became the first Korean member of the CFA institute’s Education Advisory Committee (EAC), where she contributes her expertise to advancing global investment education and bridging practical portfolio management with academic and professional standards.

Mr. Jeong serves as a Senior Manager at the Teachers’ Pension (TP). Since joining the organization in 2014, he is currently responsible for the management of diverse corporate finance portfolios, including private equity, private debt, and venture capital investments within the broader spectrum of alternative assets. Mr. Jeong graduated from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) with MBA and holds Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Hyunsik Jang is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Samsung Asset Management. Since joining the firm in 2021, he has been responsible for private equity investments, focusing on North American and European buyout and secondary strategies, as well as sourcing and executing co-investment opportunities. Prior to joining Samsung Asset Management, he was a Manager in M&A Transaction Services at Deloitte Anjin and previously served as an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche in New York, where he specialized in cross-border transactions and US GAAP audits. He holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

With over a decade of experience in portfolio management, he has a strong track record in delivering risk-adjusted returns across diverse asset classes. Currently at Samsung Asset Management, he co-manages one of Korea’s largest target-date funds and a unique multi-asset strategy. His expertise spans macroeconomics, tactical asset allocation, and fund selection. Previously, he led multi-billion dollar portfolios at Korea’s National Pension Service and Korea Investment Management, including a USD 2 billion country allocation fund and a USD 1.5 billion TAA program, with a strong focus on investment risk and due diligence.

Prior to Kiwoom, he worked at DGB Life insurance as an alternative invest-ment manager. Before DGB Life, he was MG Non-Life Insurance company’s alternative in-vestment manager. He started his finance career at DB Financial Investment as an alternative investment analyst. He earned a Bachelor's degree at Hanyang University.

Yunsuk (David) Oh is Senior Investment Manager at the Private Equity Team of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF), which he joined in April 2025. He previously worked at the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives (2018–2025) and the Military Mutual Aid Association (2013–2018), focusing on alternative investments. Over his career, he has executed more than 50 transactions across private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and structured products. He is the author of the Handbook of Alternative Investment and the finance-themed novel Default, and has also taught professional courses on global private credit investing at the Korea Financial Investment Association.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business from Yonsei University.

Kyson Suh is an Associate Director at WTW with two decades of actuarial experience across asset-liability management, risk modeling, and actuarial strategy. Based in Seoul, he has advised insurers on internal model development, co-insurance, ALM strategies, and M&A due diligence, and previously pioneered Korea’s first bond forward market while working as a quant-actuary at a major life insurer. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Seoul National University and an MBA in Digital Finance from KAIST. Kyson is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Korea (FIAK), a CFA charterholder, and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Prior to joining Meritz Group in 2016, his career had em-braced diversified products and solutions in institutional business domain at US investment banks (JPMorgan Korea, Citigroup Global Markets Hong Kong) and Swiss private bank (Bank Julius Baer Hong Kong), where he was running the entire institutional business for Korean Institutions based both on-shore and off-shore Korea (Hong Kong & Singapore). Dr. Nam is a research fellow in fund & pension division of Korea Capital Market Institute (KCMI). He has been a member of the Public Pension Investment Pool Steering Committee since 2024. He also serves as the head of the Alternative Investment Advisory Group within the pension investment pool. He was a former head of fund performance evaluation team in National Pension Research Institute (NPRI), which was a division of National Pension Service (NPS). His research area covers all of the asset management of pension fund, especially the ESG and alternative investment(AI) of institutional investors. He received his PhD in Management Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

He began his career as a FICC trader and KTB Primary Dealer at Tongyang Investment Bank, a government-authorized dealer of Korea Treasury Bonds (KTB). He then joined NH Financial Group, providing asset allocation advisory, portfolio performance evaluation, as well as FX strategy and risk management for subsidiaries including life insurance, non-life insurance, and bank. Most recently, he served as a portfolio manager at Hanwha Asset Management, managing special accounts for insurance companies with a focus on long-term investment strategies, including liability-driven investment (LDI). Stephen Lee has held the Chief Economist role at Meritz Securities since 2016. Stephen has over 20 years of experience in macroeconomic research. His research covers various issues from business cycles, monetary policy to geopolitics. He deeply dives into histories and data, and tries to find links between theory and practice. One of his latest publication includes a study on fate of US hegemony and implications on the financial market. Prior to joining Meritz Securities, he was an economist at Samsung Securities from 2005-2016, mainly covering China and Korea. He holds and BA and MA in economics from Yonsei University. Stephen is based in Seoul, South Korea.
