George Santoro is the Executive Secretary of Brazil’s Ministry of Transport and has a strong academic background in law, business administration, economics, and accounting, with specializations from renowned institutions in Brazil, the U.S., China, and Singapore. He led Brazil’s first sanitation concession project under the new regulatory framework in Alagoas and currently oversees the world’s largest portfolio of transport infrastructure projects. He’s Leading a package of railway concessions focusing on the Central-West and North regions, crucial for the flow of grains and other commodities. He has also overseen the establishment of a national commission to monitor rail projects planned and implemented by Brazil's freight concessionaires, ensuring effective oversight and progress in the railway sector.

Before founding Kaszek Ventures in 2011, Hernan cofounded MercadoLibre in 1999, where he was COO for 9 years and CFO for 3 years. Prior to this, he worked as Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble Co. and was a finance analyst at the United Nations Development Program. Hernan received an MBA from Stanford University and graduated magna cum laude in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. Additionally, he’s a Board Member at ARCAP (Argentina Venture Capital Association). Hernan was selected Endeavor Entrepreneur in 1999, chosen Established Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2009, and awarded “The Outstanding Young Persons of Argentina” recognition by the Junior Chamber International in 2004.

Perroni holds a Master of Engineering degree from Politenico di Milano and a Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado. Prior to joining IFC, Anandhi spent ten years at J.P. Morgan in business development and transaction execution in M&A and Corporate Finance for Consumer and Telecom clients. Mr. Arslan Mian, Managing Director, heads the Americas Investment team at BlackRock Private Equity Partners (“PEP”) within BlackRock Equity Private Markets (“EPM”). He is a member of PEP's Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Portfolio Construction & Allocation Committee, Valuation Committee and Finance Committee. He is also a member of BlackRock’s Transition Capital Investment Committee. Mr. Mian's service with the firm dates back to 2005, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (“MLIM”), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. He was a Principal at MLIM at the time of the merger. Prior to joining MLIM in 2005, he was a Vice President with the Private Equity Group at UBS Capital Americas, LLC. ($1.5B middle market fund, focused on Americas), where he oversaw all stages of the private equity investment and post-investment value creation processes and had board responsibilities for a few portfolio companies. Earlier, Mr. Mian was a Vice President with TD Securities Financial Sponsors Group. Prior to that, he was with UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance Group in New York and M&A Group in London, UK. Mr. Mian currently serves on the advisory boards of several private equity funds including AE Industrials, BDCM, CD&R, Greycroft and Mason Wells. Mr. Mian also serves on the Board of Directors of the following portfolio companies: 365 Datacenters, Grupo Axo, Triarc, Serena and Lily, HealthChannels and Kellstrom Industries. His consultancy experience includes M&A strategy, commercial due diligence, and corporate strategy and operations for a broad range of industries, including consumer goods, financial services, and mining. She joined Fordham in August 2022, following her role as Associate Treasurer of Investments at Yale New Haven Health System, where she led a team responsible for managing over $5 billion in assets. Before her tenure at Yale New Haven, which began in 2009, Geeta worked as a senior consultant at Mercer in London and Edinburgh. She also served as the head of marketing at Capital Metrics in Pune, India. Geeta earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Financial Markets from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Goldie Shturman is the acting Vice President of the Office of Investment Funds at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), responsible for investments in venture capital, private equity, credit, and catalytic funds, across DFC’s priority sectors including infrastructure, climate, energy, critical minerals, health, agriculture, and financial services. Prior to her role as Acting VP, she was responsible for DFC’s investments in funds throughout Latin America. Before joining DFC, Shturman was a Senior Consultant dedicated to fund structuring, deal sourcing, M&A, and business opportunities for foreign investors entering the Latin American market. Prior to this role, Shturman was a Senior Investment Officer for eight years at the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), which focuses on development through the private sector via debt, equity, and technical assistance. At the IIC, she developed, built, and managed a portfolio of indirect and direct equity and mezzanine investments. She also implemented a co-investment and co-lending program with funds in IIC’s portfolio, as well as corporate governance and technical assistance programs. Prior to joining IIC, Shturman was Senior Consultant at the Wharton Small Business Development Center; Senior Associate at Zemi Communications, a New York-based public relations, political strategy, and corporate communications consulting firm; and Financial Analyst at Evercore Partners/Protego in Mexico City.

Jen began her career with IFC in the Cairo office, and was then based in Istanbul for 4 years, where she covered new and existing funds business for IFC’s funds practice. Prior to joining IFC in 2010, Jen worked at EMP Global, a Washington-based emerging markets private equity firm. Jen has been investing in funds for over 15 years, sits on fund advisory committees and has overseen investments in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, Europe, Asia and across Latin America. From 1999-2005 she worked for Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas in New York in Interest Rate Derivative and Credit Derivative trading and operations. From 2003 to 2008, he worked at Pactual and UBS Pactual, where he led the management of the Nordeste Empreendedor Private Equity fund and the PCP I fund. During his time at Vinci, he served on the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies, including Unidas, Pro Infusion, Camarada, and Burger King. Before becoming CIO, Marisela served as Managing Director and Head of the Financial Sector Division at IDB Invest, where she focused on structuring deals with banks and non-bank financial institutions.
