Goodwin Gaw, Founder, Chairman and Managing Principal, Gaw Capital Partners Hong Kong Goodwin is the Founder and Managing Principal
of Gaw Capital Partners, a uniquely positioned real estate private equity fund
management company focusing on markets in Asia Pacific region and other high
barrier to entry markets globally. Gaw Capital has raised seven commingled
funds targeting the Greater China and APAC regions since 2005. The firm also
manages value add/opportunistic funds in the US, a Pan-Asia hospitality fund, a
European hospitality fund, a Growth Equity fund, and provides services for credit
investments and separate account direct investments globally. Gaw Capital
Partners has raised equity in excess of USD$21.5 billion as of 2022 Q1 and
currently commands assets of over USD$35.2 billion under management
encompassing residential developments, offices, retail, serviced apartments,
hotels, logistic properties and IDC projects. Goodwin received “Asia Industry
Figure of the Year” in 2013, 2015 and 2018 by PERE, a market leading award

connecting the past to the future. Goodwin is currently a member of ULI’s

Board of Overseers of the School of Engineering and Applied Science in the
University of Pennsylvania and the board member of Lawrenceville School.
Goodwin received a BS in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering at
the University of Pennsylvania, a BS in Finance from the Wharton School at the
University of Pennsylvania, and a MS in Construction Management from Stanford

Adrian Zuercher, Managing Director, Head Global Asset Allocation and Co-Head Global Investment Management APAC, UBS Chief Investment Office Adrian
Zuercher is Head Global Asset Allocation and Co-Head Global Investment
Management APAC at UBS Chief Investment office. In his Global Asset Allocation
role, he is responsible for multi-asset portfolio solutions. He co-chairs
the tactical investment forum, the global portfolio construction meeting, and
is a member of the global investment committee, which defines the UBS CIO
house-view. In his Global IM APAC capacity, he is responsible for investment
fund selection, portfolio management, and product development. Adrian oversees
regional discretionary and advisory mandates, investment and alternatives
funds, sustainable investing, and the wealth planning offering. Before joining UBS, Adrian was Head of Multi Asset Emerging Market Strategy and Global Asset Allocation at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Hong Kong and Zurich, where he was responsible for multi-asset class portfolios as well as advising sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors on asset allocation. Prior to that, he was an equity fund manager in charge of Asia at VP Bank Asset Management, and a multi-asset class portfolio manager at F.van Lanschot Bankiers. Adrian holds an MSc in finance and economics from the University of Bern and is a CFA charter holder. |
Stefanus Hadiwidjaja, Chief Investment Officer, Indonesia Investment Authority Mr. Hadiwidjaja is one of Indonesia’s leading investment executives with regional investing experience Prior to INA, Mr Hadiwidjaja was with Creador a leading Southeast Asian private equity firm, where he was the Managing Director and Country Head of Indonesia and Singapore and member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He led and executed wide range of investments in the healthcare, consumer, and financial service industries. He has a proven track record in turning around and improving the value of its firm’s investments including acting as CEO and board member of its investee companies. Mr Hadiwidjaja spent few years working at global consulting firm the Boston Consulting Group ( serving clients in financial services and telecommunication industries, both private and state owned enterprises Prior to that, Mr. Hadiwidjaja worked at boutique management consulting firms, Arghajata and Skha Consulting, and spent a year with IBM Indonesia as Territory Services Leader. He holds an MBA degree in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania as a Fulbright Sampoerna Scholar and Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitas Pelita Harapan. |
