Standard Chartered Named Daniel Furer as Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management & Asset Allocation

Standard Chartered has named Daniel Furer as the Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management & Asset Allocation. Furer will report to Steve Brice, the Global Chief Investment Officer.


In his newly appointed position, Daniel will be responsible for managing the Bank's Chief Investment Office Fund and Flagship Portfolios business, overseeing customized mandates and asset allocation solutions. Additionally, he will play a key role in promoting the adoption of portfolio strategies through engagement with frontline teams and clients. Daniel will be situated in Singapore.

 

Daniel comes to the Bank from Credit Suisse, where he served in different capacities within Asset Management and Investment Management since 2007. In his most recent role as Head of Investment Management Singapore and Business Development Asia, he effectively led the team in providing discretionary asset management services to private banking and institutional clients across Asia.
