Adam Raleigh is the founder and CEO of Markets Group, a leading conference organizer focused on the Americas. Mr. Raleigh, a native of Cleveland, OH, is a graduate of Kent State University, where he earned a B.A. in Finance. Mr. Raleigh has developed investor education programs for IMN-Euromoney, Institutional Investor Awards, and other leading firms focused on the needs of investors worldwide. In 2009, Mr. Raleigh founded Latin Markets Brazil, a regional conference organizer focused on Brazil’s alternative asset management community. In 2010, he transformed the firm into Latin Markets, adding forums across Latin America. In 2012, Mr. Raleigh launched US Markets in order to add coverage of North America’s institutional investor market. Mr. Sahar Mahjoor is responsible for manager and industry relations at Markets Group. He is a Partner of the firm and focuses his time identifying international managers with an interest in Latin America. Prior to his role at Markets Group, Mr. Sahar Mahjoor served as Chairman of The Afghan Education Peace Foundation. Additionally, Mr. Sahar Mahjoor has held a variety of positions with some of the world’s leading public relations, sales, marketing and event planning firms. Mr. Rogers is currently the Head of Training and Development. In this role he is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, standardizing processes across teams, and developing training for existing team members including SPIN selling, financial and economic markets training and team-building exercises. Mr. Rogers has worked on Wall Street for over 16 years on both the buy and sell side with experience in fixed income and equities. Prior to Markets Group, Mr. Rogers headed the emerging markets sales efforts for Espirito Santo Financial Services, Safra Securities and Banco Fator for 6 years where he focused on US institutional investors. Before working in emerging markets, Mr. Rogers sold fixed income credit derivatives at Deutsche Bank for 5 years and was a bond trader at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) for 4 years. Mr. Rogers is also an adjunct professor at the NYU Stern School of Business where he teaches management communication in the Langone Part-Time MBA program. He is also a former member of the United States Marine Corps with a BSc in Finance from the California State University at Long Beach and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Ms. Gargurevich is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with institutional partners for LATAM forums. Prior to joining Markets Group, she lived the majority of her life in Quito, Ecuador where she gained experience working directly with ISM Corporation’s senior management. In addition, she worked in marketing with RedBull North America. Ms. Gargurevich will soon be receiving a BS in Finance from St. Johns University. Ms. Gargurevich is fluent in Spanish and English.
Mr. Tola is part of the Markets Group Hedge Fund Investor team with responsibility for Institutional Investor and Family Office relations in the US Pacific Region, Texas and New York. Mrs. Endres is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and moved to the United States in 2012. She is responsible for Sponsorship Sales & Client Development within the Latam Private Wealth Group. Prior to Markets Group, she has over 15 years experience overseeing sales conferences for companies in the beverage, cosmetic, and database management industries. Tony Patryn is responsible for the creation of marketing materials used both online and in print for Markets Group.
Prior to joining the team, Mr. Patryn was Creative Director for OTRIAD Digital Marketing in NYC and Junior Art Director for Brierton Design in Chicago, in which he was an essential asset to the company winning multiple awards for integrated marketing campaigns.
Mr. Patryn hold an Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Graphic Design and Multimedia from Westwood College of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Columbia College in Chicago.
Mr. Smith is responsible for the marketing of US events at Markets Group. Prior to joining the company, he was a freelance graphic designer, strategist, and copywriter. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA and more recently earned his Master of Science in Marketing from American University in Washington, D.C., his hometown.
Ms. Lima is a Brazilian native from Rio de Janeiro and is responsible for supporting the marketing team building international partnerships and operation supports.
Prior to joining Markets Group, Ms. Lima worked in the Sales and Events area of Alltour America NY coordinating events with brands as Santander, Avon and Fiat. Ms. Lima also have 5 years experience doing Sales in Itau Bank S.A, the largest Latin America Brank. Ms. Lima graduated with BA in Business from Estacio de Sa University in Brazil.
Additionally, is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Ms. Rodriguez is responsible for production and development for the Mining series within the Energy and Infrastructure Projects Group.
She holds a BA degree in International Businesses from Universidad del Norte, Colombia and studied at the American Language Program from Columbia University in the city of New York.
Prior to joining LM, she worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Barranquilla, coordinating public relations events, marketing and logistics of the biggest business forum organized in the Atlantic Region. Additionally, Ms. Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Tolentino is responsible for the client relationships within the Institutional Investors Group. Prior to LM, Mr. Tolentino was involved in business development at LatinFinance. Mr. Tolentino earned a B.A. in Mathematics & Business Finance from Saint Rose College in Albany NY, where he also played 4 years of Baseball.
Mr. Tolentino is a native of New York, with origins from the Dominican Republic. He is fluent in Spanish and English. Mr. Tolentino may be contacted for participation in our Institutional Investors Forums.
Ms. Schmithalter is responsible for the marketing, communications and production support for the Energy and Infrastructure Projects Group.
Prior to joining LM, she worked for Maxus Energy Corp, a subsidiary of YPF, Argentina’s most important Oil and Gas Company, as an Accounting/Financial Analyst. Ms. Schmithalter graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas with a double major in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, Ms. Schmithalter is fluent in Spanish and English.
Mr. Frank oversees all hedge fund activity at Latin Markets and leads the hedge fund team, focused on fostering collaboration between institutional investors and hedge fund managers throughout the Americas. Previously, he directed investor education platforms and industry relations in Peru, Chile and the United States. Prior to LM he held positions at the American Hospital in Tbilisi and the Strategic Research Center in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia. Mr. Frank earned a BA with Great Distinction in Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is fluent in Spanish.

Mr. Coba is responsible for client relationships and capital raising efforts in the institutional investment sector for US and international investment banks, hedge funds and other asset managers. He focuses his time helping managers build relationships with US state, public and corporate pension funds, endowments and foundations to aid them in increasing efficiencies and investment returns. Prior to joining US Markets, Mr. Coba held a variety of positions with some of the world’s leading sales, marketing, and event management firms working with high net worth clients and C - level executives for business conferences, private charter aviation and overall business development. Mr. Coba attended New Jersey Institute of Technology and majored in International Business and Marketing.
Mr. Mark is responsible for Investor Relations at US Markets. Prior to US Markets, Mr. Mark worked within the Investor Relations team at MacKenzie Partners and as an intern at UBS. Mr. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston University and is also currently completing the Level 2 requirements of a CFA Charter.
