LinePoint Partners & Co., a privately held family office, has appointed James Chirdo as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer.
In his new role, Chirdo will lead the firm’s family office platform, including delivery of its high-touch advisor support, and oversee the organization’s operational and compliance infrastructure model, noted a press release.
He joins LinePoint after serving as managing director and head of wealth management operations at Rockefeller Capital Management, where he helped establish the operational foundation for Rockefeller Financial LLC, the firm’s wealth management broker-dealer. Prior to his work at Rockefeller, Chirdo spent more than a decade at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, serving in director of sales and relationship management roles in the Broadcort division.
“From day one, our vision at LinePoint was to build something truly different — a platform that doesn’t just support [ultra-high-net-worth] advisors but advances them,” said Robertino Coury, the firm’s founder and chief executive officer, in the release.
“Attracting someone like Jim Chirdo — who brings decades of deep operational, compliance, and platform development experience in the UHNW space — is not just a win for LinePoint, it’s a key piece of the puzzle. His decision to join us validates the strength of what we’re building, and I couldn’t be more excited to have him as a partner as we continue redefining what’s possible for elite advisors and the families they serve.”
