Cherry Creek snags former Johns Hopkins University CIO Jason Perlioni

Perlioni previously served as VP, investments and CIO for Johns Hopkins University, overseeing the investment program for its more than $9B investment assets.

The $3B Cherry Creek Family Offices (CCFO) has appointed Jason Perlioni, former chief investment officer of Johns Hopkins University, as senior partner and chairman of the investment committee.

In this new role, Perlioni will work closely with the CCFO’s managing partners, Kevin Burke and Tim Ulfig, as well as CIO, Corey McKiernan.

“As we continue to deepen and enhance the capabilities and expertise we deliver to our ultra-high-net-worth family clients, I’m thrilled that Jason Perlioni will join our team at this exciting time,” said Burke, in a press release. “Our continued investment in top-flight talent and solutions demonstrates our steadfast commitment to the families and their future generations that we serve.”

Before joining the CCFO, Perlioni served as vice-president of investments and CIO for Johns Hopkins University, where he oversaw all aspects of the investment program for more than $9B in endowment and related investment assets.

Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Perlioni served as CIO of The Pritzker Group, a multi-billion-dollar single-family office. Earlier in his career, he held roles as a director and portfolio manager at UBS Global Asset Management and in Northwestern University’s investment office. He began his career as a management consultant at Arthur D. Little and Price Waterhouse.
