After 20 years with Homrich Berg Wealth Management, its principal and chief investment officer, Stephanie Lang, has left the firm.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Lang announced her departure, reflecting on her years with Homrich Berg and in the industry.

“It has been an honor to help lead our investment team and support the firm’s growth from $1B to $26B in assets under management,” she said in the post. “We’ve helped our clients achieve their goals and dreams and we did it supporting each other (AND it was fun)!”

She joined the organization in 2005 as a senior investment analyst, then moved into a director position in 2012 until 2014 when she was appointed CIO. Lang’s LinkedIn profile noted, as CIO, her duties included chairing Homrich Berg’s Investment Committee that is responsible for all investment matters, including asset allocation, manager selection, and monitoring of public and private investments. She also had oversight of research efforts for the firm’s internal fund-of funds in private equity, private debt, and private real estate.

Lang began her career as an equity research associate at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and at the Bank of America as a portfolio manager.
