Flagstar Private Bank has appointed Carly Doshi, executive vice-president, head of family advisory, planning, and trusts.

In her new role, Doshi will spearhead the transformation of Flagstar’s wealth planning offerings, building strategic relationships to deliver comprehensive solutions for high-net-worth clients and identifying new opportunities for growth, according to a LinkedIn post by Brett Mitstifer, the private bank’s newly appointed chief investment officer.

She joins Flagstar from HSBC, where she was managing director and head of wealth planning and international connectivity. Doshi rejoined HSBC after serving two years as managing director at J.P. Morgan. During her earlier tenure at HSBC, she held several leadership roles, including head of philanthropy, family governance, and family office advisories for the Americas, as well as managing director and head of wealth planning and advisories for the region.

Earlier in her career, Doshi was vice-president at Evercore Wealth Management LLC and associate wealth director at Fiduciary Trust Company International. She also held roles at Columbia Law School, focusing on planned and major gifts, and at Pepperdine University as director of law associates.

Doshi is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, chair of the Charitable Planning and Exempt Organizations Group of the American Bar Association, and serves on both the global steering committee and the New York board of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

She will be based in New York City and report to Mark Pittsey, head of private banking and wealth management.
