By Chris Glynn

Advisor Group hired Iryna Northrip as chief compliance officer and Dimple Shah as executive vice president of corporate strategy.

The $475 billion private wealth manager said Shah will be responsible for company growth, not to mention be a member of its executive committee for Advisor Group, while Northrip will oversee compliance for its nationwide investment advisor network.

Shah is based in Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego, according to her LinkedIn profile, while Northrip, a chartered financial analyst, is a resident of Overland Park, Kan. Advisor Group is headquartered in Phoenix.

Donald Cutter, principal of outside marketing firm Haven Tower Group, said Advisor Group had no CCO or executive vice president of corporate strategy prior to hiring Northrip or Shah.

Northrip began her investment advisor career with Deutsche Bank and from 2014 until joining Advisor Group had been a compliance officer for $45 billion Mariner Wealth Advisors. Shah joined Oliver Wayman in 1998 and has worked for Marsh McLennan.

As a private wealth manager, Atlantic Group is independent, numbering 11,000 investment staff nationwide.

Operating under Advisor Group, the private wealth manager has FSC in Atlanta, Royal Alliance in northern New Jersey, SagePoint Financial in Phoenix, Securities America in Omaha, Neb., Triad Advisors in Norcross, Ga., and Woodbury Financial in Oakdale, Minn.
