Baylor joined Amerant in 2021 as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, and was later promoted to become Senior Fixed Income Strategist. Baylor started her finance career in credit research at Standard & Poor’s, covering the U.S. bank and non-bank financial sector. She was a publishing analyst through the financial crisis at the independent credit rating agency CreditSights (now part of Fitch Ratings). Since 2013, Baylor has worked on the buyside in both institutional and family office roles, including at BMO Global Asset Management and at 1919 Investment Counsel (a division of Stifel Financial). Baylor is an active member of 100 Women in Finance and the Fixed Income Analysts Society, Inc. (FIASI). Baylor earned her M.B.A in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Prior to joining Bessemer in 2017, Andrew was Executive Director and Head of Real Property Asset Management at J.P. Morgan, responsible for asset management of real property held in trusts and estates. Before that, he was Managing Director of asset management and acquisitions for two family offices. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle, responsible for the oversight of a diverse commercial real estate investment portfolio on behalf of private and institutional clients.
