Michael Graham, global head for private equity at the $97bn Ontario
Municipal Employees Retirement System will retire in 2025.
Post his retirement in early 2025, Graham will continue
serving as a senior adviser at the firm, as per the recent news release.
Graham joined the system in 2004 as a vice president on the
private equity team, eventually being promoted to the role of global head of PE
in 2020.
After Graham’s departure, his responsibilities will be
divided at the strategy level and transition to Eric Haley and Michael Bock.
Haley will now lead the buyout strategy and teams for the
firm’s private equity team.
Block will lead a new mandate named private capital and has
been appointed as the head of private capital.
The system allocates C$251bn to its private equity sleeve
and the PE portfolio returned net 3.9% in the calendar year 2023.
