Former CIO of the $1.4bn National Gallery of Art, Christine Kelleher, joined Strategic Investment Group as a managing director for the client portfolio management team.

“She has an exemplary background, including sixteen years managing the endowment portfolios of the National Gallery of Art and Georgetown University, where she assisted with the founding of their investment office,” said Nikki Kraus, Strategic's CEO.

“All elements of her experience overseeing large endowment portfolios will be invaluable in our work to deliver exceptional investment results to our clients,” added Kraus, in a recent press release.

Kelleher held the role of CIO at National Gallery of Art for over seven years, and was responsible for implementing strategic initiatives that significantly hiked the endowment’s performance and sustainability.

She has also held multiple roles at Georgetown University including senior investment officer and outreach officer.

She received her Master of Arts degree in History and in Russian and East European Studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in International Relations and Russian Language from Bucknell University.
