Ted Egan, Chief Economist, City and County of San Francisco Ted Egan has been the Chief Economist of the City and County of San Francisco since 2007. He and his team are charged with reporting to decision-makers and voters on the economic impact of major city legislation, and he has authored or co-authored over 125 legislative impact reports in his time at the City. Before joining the City, he managed economic development strategy projects for ICF International, with clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. He received his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, and taught in the Economics and City Planning Departments at Berkeley for over ten years. |
