Private Wealth Asia Forum is Singapore’s leading conference for family offices, high net worth wealth managers and private banks from throughout the region, and one of the flagship forums of our global private wealth series. The forum’s content was developed through hundreds of one-on-one meetings with the HNW family wealth management community, and the program's speaker faculty is primarily comprised of leaders in the sector from across Asia.

Our agenda covers asset allocation and protection, equity markets, fixed income, alternative investments, succession planning, and an outlook of the financial markets and the global economy. This event is completely closed-door and by invitation only. It has been designed to facilitate genuine peer-to-peer learning and networking for the regional family office and high net worth wealth management community.

Eli Lee, Head of Investment Strategy, Bank of Singapore

Mr. Lee is the Head of Investment Strategy at Bank of Singapore and plays a central role in developing asset allocation and thematic strategies across global asset classes for the overall group and the portfolio management team. He is a key member of Bank of Singapore’s investment committee, which determines the bank’s overall investment direction, and also sits on the OCBC Group Wealth Panel. As a thought-leader, Eli’s investment views are often featured in international media, including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and CNBC. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, Eli headed the special situations research team at OCBC Bank. He began his investment research career at the Wellington Management Company in Boston and holds a master’s degree from Harvard University.


Marc Lansonneur, Managing Director, Head of Managed Solutions and Investment Governance, DBS Bank

Marc Lansonneur joined DBS in October 2014. Based in Singapore, he is leading the Wealth Managed Solutions and Investment Governance group. His team of specialists cover managed products such as Funds (Unit Trusts, Private Equity, Hedge Funds), Funds Selection and Discretionary Portfolios. Marc is a member of DBS Group Sustainability Council. Previously Marc was working for Société Générale where he held various positions in Private Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking in Asia, Europe and America. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. A French National, Marc holds a Master in Business Administration from E.S.S.E.C in Paris (France).


James Cheo, Chief Investment Officer, Southeast Asia, Private Banking and Wealth Management, HSBC Private Bank

Based in Singapore, James brings more than 15 years of portfolio strategy, asset allocation and economic research experience to this role. James spearheads the development of product fulfilment strategies across all asset classes for clients in Southeast Asia in close collaboration with the Investment Counsellors and Product Specialists in Singapore.

Prior to re-joining HSBC Private Banking, James was Senior Investment Strategist at Bank of Singapore, responsible for asset allocation and thematic research. Before that, James assumed Investment Strategist roles also at Barclays Wealth Asia and KazimAsset Management. From 2004 to 2009, James served as Senior Economist at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where he was part of the team that prescribed policy actions for Singapore during the 2008 Global Financial Crisis.

With his knowledge and wealth of experience, his investment views are frequently sought after. He has established a strong media profile, with appearances on notable financial media including Bloomberg, CNBC, Channel News Asia, Channel 8 Mandarin News; and printed publications such as the Financial Times, Straits Times, Business Times.

James graduated with First Class Honoursin Finance from NanyangTechnological University. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst charter in 2007.
