The Private Wealth Hong Kong Forum is the region's leading conference for family offices, high net worth wealth managers, and private banks from throughout the region and one of the flagship meetings of our global private wealth series. The forum’s content was developed through hundreds of one-on-one meetings with the high net worth family wealth management community and the program's speaker faculty is primarily comprised of leaders in the sector from across Hong Kong.

Our agenda covers asset allocation and protection, equity markets, fixed income, alternative investments, as well as succession planning and an outlook of the financial markets and the global economy. This event is completely closed-door and invitation-only, and it has been designed to enable genuine peer-to-peer learning and networking for the regional private wealth community.

Franco Ngan, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder, Zeal Asset Management

Zeal is a Hong Kong based independent fund management firm with a global clientele which includes sovereign wealth fund, pension, private bank, family office and wholesale. Zeal was one of the first three fund houses that obtained Chinese government approval to enter mainland China’s retail fund market under the Mutual Recognition of Funds (MRF) policy in 2016. Zeal started its marketing efforts in mainland China through online distribution channels including WeChat, Alipay and Ant Fortune, and over the past three years, it has successfully built a sizable Chinese retail client base. Prior to Zeal, Franco was CEO of Value Partners Group and was the Chairman of the China Committee of The Alternative Investment Management Association Hong Kong Chapter (AIMA HK) from 2010 to 2013.

Chen Ding, Chief Executive Officer, CSOP Asset Management

Ranked #6 on the top China Asset Management Firms, CSOP Asset Management is the HK subsidiary of the China Southern Asset Management. She has held this position since 2010 and has led the company to become the largest RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (RQFII) manager globally. Ms. Ding was also Assistant Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of China Southern Asset Management Co. Ltd. (“CSAM”) from 2003 to 2013. During her tenure at CSAM, she successfully established its Qualified Domestic Institutional Investor (“QDII”) business to issue China’s first public QDII fund, which went on to become the largest in the nation. Ms. Ding was named “CEO of the Year in Asia” in the 2013 Best of Best Awards held by Asia Asset Management. She serves as Chairperson of the Chinese Asset Management Association of Hong Kong and a Board Member and Convener of the Mainland Opportunities Committee of Financial Services Development Council. She is also the Co-Chairperson of the International Business Committee of the Asset Management Association of China, as well as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission, the Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Financial Infrastructure Sub-Committee of the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
