With their guidance and oversight, this two-day event will provide participants with an educationally focused agenda and will feature leading practitioners from the fields of private equity, venture capital, real estate, hedge funds, infrastructure and other sectors of the alternative investment market.

T. Bondurant French, Chairman, Adams Street Partners

Mr. French is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and has been with Adams Street Partners and its predecessor organizations since 1980. He was instrumental in the development of Adams Street’s private equity investment strategies, fund management, and investor relations. Bon is sought out by private equity firms, consultants, and investors for advice and recommendations on a variety of private equity topics.


John P. Calamos Sr., Founder, Chairman and Global Chief Investment Officer, Calamos Investments

Mr. Calamos is Chairman and Global CIO of Calamos Investments, a firm he founded in 1977. With origins as an institutional convertible bond manager, the firm has grown into a global asset management firm with major institutional and individual clients around the world. The firm is headquartered in Chicago with additional offices in London, New York, San Francisco and Miami.


Charles Van Vleet, Chief Investment Officer, Pension Investments, Textron

Mr. Van Vleet is Assistant Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer of Pension Investments at Textron Inc., Providence RI*. Together with an investment team of four, Charles has Trustee oversight of $12.6BN in defined benefit and defined contribution assets for Textron’s U.S., Canada and UK Plans providing retirement security for over 75,00 current and past employees.


Mark Sotir, President, Equity Group Investments

As President, Mark oversees all aspects of Sam Zell’s private investment firm. With more than 20 years of board and CEO experience, Mark manages and develops EGI’s corporate investment team and deploys Sam’s active-ownership approach by engaging with portfolio company management to improve business strategies and operating structures, aligning all toward achieving optimum shareholder value.
